Shock As DSTV Station Airs Mandela’s Obituary

Shock and outrage have greeted Tuesday's accidental airing of the death hoax of revered South African former president, Nelson Mandela, fondly called Madiba.
The Universal Channel (shown on DStv channel 117) had aired a programme 'Remembering Nelson Mandela', apparently from an already prepared file on the global icon.
The channel on MultiChoice's DStv pay-TV cable network platform had accidentally aired the obituary to its millions of viewers who took to the social networks to express their shock and grief. Mandela's health had relapsed last week following infection of his lung. But latest reports from the hospital indicates that his condition is improving.

Gambian president Yahya Jammeh warns homosexuals to stay away from the country or regret being born

Gambian president, Yahya Jammeh, has warned that any gay or lesbians found in the country will "regret" being born. During a speech on March 28th at the opening of the country’s parliament, President Jammeh said:
Homosexuality is anti-humanity. I have never seen homosexual chicken, or turkey. If you are convicted of homosexuality in this country, there will be no mercy for offenders. Homosexuality is anti-god, anti-human, and anti-civilization. Homosexuals are not welcome in the Gambia. If we catch you, you will regret why you are born. I have buffalos from South Africa and Brazil and they never date each other. We are ready to eat grass but we will not compromise on this. Allowing homosexuality means allowing satanic rights. We will not allow gays here.
So homosexuals, biko stay away from the country! :-)

Man who raped girlfriend’s baby death claims he was too drunk to realize he was killing her

Condemned killer Steven Smith's argument for mercy isn't an easy one. Smith acknowledges he intended to sexually assault his girlfriend's 6-month-old daughter but says he never intended to kill the baby.

The girl, Autumn Carter, of Mansfield, died because Smith was too drunk to realize his sexual assault was killing the child, Smith's attorneys were telling the Ohio Parole Board on Tuesday. And Ohio law is clear, they say: a death sentence requires an intent to kill the victim.
"The evidence suggests that Autumn's death was a horrible accident," his attorneys, Joseph Wilhelm and Tyson Fleming, said in a written argument prepared for the board.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian deny charity fraud accusations

Khloe Kardashian’s hoopster hubby is slapping down accusations he faked out fans with his charity Cathy’s Kids.

The charity already has raised more than $2 million, ESPN said, but its work so far amounts to some $1.3 million spent on youth basketball teams, the sports network reported.
Eight years of tax records show the rest of the money went to cover they charity's expenses, an investigation by ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” found.

.
Happy Sindane’s body was found Monday on a village roadside about 80 miles northeast of Johannesburg. The 28-year-old was surrounded by stones and had injuries on his head consistent with a stoning, The Independent reported.
“It seems he had been stoned to death, but post-mortem results have yet to confirm that,” said provincial police spokesman Col. Leonard Hlathi.
Police pleaded Tuesday for witnesses to come forward in the case.
A cousin told the Pretoria News that he had last seen Sindane on Thursday.
“He was in good spirits and happy,” Thomas Kabini said.
