Western Media Laments as Russia Foils US Plans for No-Fly Zone Over Syria

The Western media is lamenting as Russia wrecks the nearly-set agreement of the US-led coalition to establish a no-fly zone over Syria based on Jordanian and Turkish plans, despite jihadist groups lacking any aerial strike capabilities, while adding that the US and its allies have begun “preparing to open up a major front in northeastern Syria”.

“The Russian forces now in place make it very, very obvious that any kind of no-fly zone on the Libyan model imposed by the US and allies is now impossible, unless the coalition is actually willing to shoot down Russian aircraft,” The Financial Times quotes Justin Bronk, a research analyst at the Royal United Services Institute as saying.

End of an era for the West!

The support of neo-nazis in Ukraine destroys the last pretexts and wakes up nightmares of the past

by system failure

It appears that, for at least six years now, the West is trapped in a situation of permanent recession, while there are many who predict new economic crises in the near future.

Why The WEST Detests PUTIN

President Putin banned homosexual marriage, gatherings, and organizations in his country of Russia against Western pressure.  President Putin banned the use and sell of GMOs(Genetically Modified Organisms), which are lab made seeds that are scientifically proven to be deadly and detrimental to the health of human-beings and even animals, from his country of Russia. The West opposes this.

Obama in Poland: the real danger is from the West

On June 3-4 president Barack Obama is going to Poland before moving on to the G7 summit in Brussels. Obama’s visit  is theoretically devoted to the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Poland’s first post-communist parliamentary election,  in 1989.

Obama though is unlikely to talk much about the past, he is much more likely to want to discuss the future, especially about the "containment" of Russia (the State Department’s new policy line on Russia, first hailed by the former US ambassador to Moscow, Michael McFaul, in his recent opinion piece in The New York Times).
In Warsaw, Obama will meet the Polish and American pilots of the Poland-based F16 fighter jets, a new symbol of this "new" containment. (It should not be forgotten that the "old" containment policy was launched in late 1940s on the advice of the great American diplomat George F. Kennan, also a former ambassador to Moscow, who  from the 1990s opposed NATO’s expansion and other hostile US and allied action against the new, non-communist Russia.)

Otunba Gbenga Daniel not our leader — South-West PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party in the South-West on Saturday said a former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, did not lead its members in the zone to the inauguration of the reconstruction of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway by President Goodluck Jonathan.  The party said it was laughable that Daniel now known as the “chief promoter” of the rival Labour Party in the zone would be the head of the party’s delegation to the event presided over by a president elected on the platform of the PDP.

Jonathan had on Friday in Sagamu, Ogun State inaugurated the reconstruction of the road.
The South-West PDP in a statement by its Zonal Publicity Secretary, Waheed Lawal, in Abeokuta said the clarification was necessary against the backdrop of reports in some sections of the media that Daniel led the party’s delegation to the event.

Lawlessness: Provision of weapons to Syrian opposition by West contradicts Geneva 2 policies - Lavrov

The Western activities aimed at providing weapons to the Syrian opposition means that the West supports opposition activists' condition that the balance of power should be restored in the world before Geneva 2 is held.

"The activities aimed at providing weapons to the opposition, which have recently intensified, only means that the precondition [set by the opposition to restore the balance of power on the battle ground] is supported by the West and other countries which are going to supply such weapons, this contradicting the very concept of the conference, which is to begin without any preconditions," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a press conference following his negotiations with his Moroccan counterpart.
